During my study at Raffles, I was full of curiosity about the unknown and expectations for the future. I chose this place because I know that fashion design is not only about fashion and trends, but also about the integration of creativity, aesthetics and culture. Design management is the key to turning creativity into commercial value. In the fashion design course, I have a deep understanding of the whole process from fabric selection to style design to pattern making. Each course is like a new world for me to explore freely. I still remember the sense of accomplishment when I designed and made a piece of clothing by myself for the first time. The creative process from scratch made me more determined in my choice. At the same time, the design management course focuses more on practice and application. We not only need to learn how to conduct market research and analyze consumer needs, but also learn how to make project plans and manage teams. These courses made me understand that design is not only art, but also business. How to perfectly combine art and business is a question I have been thinking about. During my study at the college, I also encountered many challenges. But it is these challenges that made me more mature and stronger. I learned how to face difficulties, how to seek help, and how to work with a team. Looking back on this learning experience, I feel that I have gained a lot. I not only learned professional knowledge, but also developed my creative thinking and problem-solving skills. I am grateful to Raffles Design Institute for providing me with this platform, which gives me the opportunity to learn and grow. The learning experience at Raffles Design Institute is a precious treasure in my life. I believe that this experience will accompany me through every journey in the future.
