As Principal of Raffles College of Higher Education, I am especially privileged to present Design Forward, our graduating cohort and their achievements.

There are certain images that immediately imprint themselves in our memories, startling, transporting, and palpable. They are so fully realised, dimensionally you can almost feel them in the air and on your skin. Design boundaries are shifting and at times the lines are blurred. The creative boundaries are expanding and changing at tremendous speed. This is a time when you need to stop and reflect on the past, the present, and where we are going in the future.

You, as Raffles Designer or Marketer, are at a turning point and you need to contemplate what is next in response to a world that is still off-balance and permanently changed by the events that took place over the past years. This is a time when you need to re-imagine, re-design, and act on the new adventure that you will embark on. Design Forward is the future that is yours to create.

As this new certainty settles into the mind of each graduate tonight, it is again that familiar ritual that occurs every year, where the graduating cohort leaves Raffles College of Higher Education to begin to live the life and career for which our dedicated staff has prepared them over their many years of study.

We look forward to our Raffles Designers and Marketers keeping the tradition and passion alive. On behalf of everyone at Raffles College of Higher Education, we wish them much success in their future endeavours.
