Although I started my career taking HR roles in multinational companies, the passion for interior design has never died since my childhood. I have always believed that a house is not only a place for us to live in, but also a place for our mind to be recharged and heart comforted. In my design projects for Master of Design Management, I have also attempted to restore my childhood life in an unpolluted city with green hills and clear waters. In this eco-resort project, I put my ideas to the design of a new resort in Iceland, hoping to create a new experience for the tourists and to promote sustainability by incorporating concepts, materials, and technologies of sustainable development. The design process of this project, as well as that of other projects in Master of Design Management, is valuable in my journey to pursue an ideal design of a house for me and for others. The skills and techniques I learned from the courses enable me to create structured plans for new projects and potentially implement them in systematic ways. Now with passion and skill, I’m fully equipped for a new professional life as a designer.
