Dear Teachers, Hello! As a graduate of the Advanced Diploma in Digital Media Design program at Raffles College Singapore, this systematic learning experience has enabled me to transform from a design enthusiast into a professional practitioner both theoretically and practically. I am writing to recommend myself to you with great enthusiasm. In my professional course studies, I have systematically mastered the core software and tools of digital media design. With Photoshop (PS), I am proficient in image retouching, composition, and visual effects production, and I can adjust color matching and visual styles according to different project requirements. Illustrator (AI), on the other hand, has made me proficient in vector graphic design and brand logo creation. I am good at transforming abstract concepts into concise and powerful visual symbols. In the field of dynamic design, the study of After Effects (AE) has enabled me to independently complete the design of animation storyboards, keyframe animation production, and audio-visual synthesis. In a course project, I presented the selling points of a product in a vivid visual form through the design of a dynamic poster. In terms of interaction design, I have delved into Adobe XD and fully mastered the UI/UX design process, from user research and prototype drawing to high-fidelity interaction design. Through practical project exercises, I have learned to optimize the user experience by using information architecture and enhance the interaction fun of the interface by combining motion design. In addition, I have also learned 3D modeling and rendering techniques through C4D, adding a three-dimensional visual effect to digital media works, and I am able to independently complete product modeling and scene construction. In addition to software skills, I also focus on translating the knowledge I have learned into practical achievements. In order to comprehensively showcase my personal design capabilities and professional image, I independently built a personal resume website. I completed the whole process independently, from website architecture planning and front-end code writing to the design of work classification and display. The website not only integrates my graphic design, dynamic works, and interaction projects, but also adapts to multi-terminal browsing through responsive design, fully demonstrating my practical ability in web design and development. The learning experience at Raffles College Singapore has not only equipped me with solid professional skills, but also cultivated my ability to solve problems independently and the awareness of continuous learning.
