Studying at Raffles College of Higher Education has been a transformative journey. The curriculum is diverse and hands-on. I’ve learned the fundamentals of product design –—like sketching, 3D modeling, and materials and user research, branding, visual storytelling, sustainability, and even business strategy. These courses helped me understand that design is more than aesthetics. It’s about solving problems, understanding users, and delivering meaningful experiences. The international environment at Raffles encouraged me to blend cultural elements and explore my creative identity. I became more confident in expressing personal, emotional, and sometimes unconventional ideas. Over the past two years, I’ve grown into a designer who thinks visually, critically, and emotionally. To me, design is not just a career—; it’s a way to connect people, preserve culture, and make ideas matter.
