Raffles Fashion Designer Sasipim Sonpavorapong (Hunny) was named the international winner of the 2024 Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC) International Design Competition, held in York, United Kingdom. Her collection, developed using soil-derived bacteria and agricultural waste, stood out for its originality, scientific precision, and commitment to sustainability.
Hunny is the second international winner from Raffles Design Institute to win this award.
In 2023, Raffles Fashion Designer Verina LIE was the first national winner,
representing Raffles Design Institute and Singapore to win this prestigious award.
