Fashion Futures – an insightful documentary series of what Singapore Fashion has to offer in
terms of creativity, diversity, and innovation from design education to the fashion industry, with
an emphasis on sustainability – made its debut on 16 November 2024.
Presented by the Singapore Fashion Council in partnership with ASN Media, this series delves
into four key areas: Cultivate, Create, Use, and Rescue, covering sustainable material sourcing,
zero-waste design, alternative retail models, and end-of-life product innovations, respectively
Raffles Design Institute is honoured to contribute to Fashion Futures, sharing the college\u2019s
emphasis on zero-waste drafting techniques in reducing waste from conceptualisation to
production, and pushing the boundaries of sustainability and creativity that is aligned to
industry\u2019s needs, preparing Raffles Designers to be industry ready.
