RAFFLES JEWELLERY DESIGNERS HONED THEIR CRAFTSMANSHIP AT RISIS
Raffles Jewellery Designers visited RISIS headquarters in Lum Chang Building to
observe the intricate process of electroforming orchids before they are plated with
24K gold. While the main production factory is based in Johor, Malaysia, the students
had the opportunity to explore both traditional and cutting-edge 3D printing studios
during the visit.
They observed the wax carving facilities, where skilled artisans create figurines for
the 12 zodiac signs, and toured the jewellery workshop, which houses advanced 3D
printing technology. This hands-on experience provided valuable insight into both
