RAFFLES JEWELLERY DESIGNERS HAD A GLIMPSE INTO THE FASCINATING WORLD OF GEMS
Raffles Jewellery Designers visited The Gem Museum, Singapore’s first and most comprehensive
private gemmology museum. During the visit, Mr. TAY Kunming and Ms. LOKE Huiying, the
founders of the museum and certified gemmology trainers, shared their expertise on the
fascinating Chameleon diamond, a rare colour-changing gemstone with unique properties.
Our students also had the opportunity to explore a diverse range of precious and semi-precious
stones, as well as fancy-cut diamonds valued at approximately S$20,000 each. This handson experience allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of the intricate qualities that
contribute to the value of these stunning gems.
